We want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank our friends at the Richmond Technology Council (RVATech) for a fantastic RVATechJam 2017 and RVA Tech Week.
From the official declarations of Mayor Levar Stoney (pictured) and kickoff by Governor Terry McAuliffe, to the work of RVATech’s amazing staff, the entire week was a living, breathing illustration of the awesomeness of Richmond’s technology community.
Simple Thread is proud and humbled to participate in RVA TechJam. We’re also proud to compete, and often collaborate, with such innovative and smart people in the RVA tech community at large. We want to thank everyone who, like us, participated in or sponsored any of the week’s events. Nothing happens until people get involved, and you did in a very big way.
A standing ovation goes out to Executive Director Robby Demeria, Director of Events Margaret Taylor, and Operations Director Tracy Dickerson for your help and hard work. The week culminated in, among other things, a super fun and successful Techxpo, of which we were proud to be a featured sponsor.
If your firm is in the technology field and hasn’t joined RVATech yet, we encourage you to become part of this vital community for technologists and middle services professionals in Richmond. We look forward to seeing you at upcoming RVATech events. If you like to chat about our experience in the organization, please feel free to reach out.
We can’t wait for RVATechJam and Richmond Technology Week 2018.
